Dates: June 4th - June 18th, 2026
Location: SPACS Art Gallery
149 West 27th St, Floor 3
New York, NY
The exhibition "The Alchemy of Material: Reimagining the Everyday" invites viewers to explore the significance of everyday objects and their transformative power. Through the works of artists Bahar Sabzevari, Daisuke Kiyomiya, Irina Kosheleva and Tania Whalen, the exhibition highlights how ordinary materials can evoke profound personal and cultural narratives.
These artists challenge us to see the familiar in new ways, revealing the hidden meanings and stories that reside within the objects we often take for granted. By examining materials that carry memories and emotions, the exhibition encourages a deeper reflection on our relationship with the physical world.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with thought-provoking artworks that illuminate the beauty and complexity of the everyday. Join us in discovering how the simple can transform into the extraordinary.
