Pottery Instructor & Studio Assistant (Part-Time, 10 hrs/week)

About the Position: 
Join our creative studio community as a Pottery Instructor & Studio Assistant! This part-time role (10 hours/week) begins with a 2-week gig in August, continuing as a regular position teaching both kids and adults starting in September.

Qualifications: 
- Experience teaching pottery to children and adults 
- Positive, supportive, and flexible attitude 
- Passionate about sharing why pottery is wonderful and how it has shaped you 
- Able to lead workshops and design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans 
- Willing to assist with studio cleaning, glazing, firing, and maintaining supplies 
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs 
- Eager to learn new skills and contribute to a vibrant studio environment 
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated

Responsibilities: 
- Teach pottery classes and host workshops for all ages 
- Develop curriculum and specify material needs 
- Create a welcoming, memorable experience for all students 
- Assist with daily studio operations and maintenance 
- Consistently arrive on time and help foster a supportive studio atmosphere

Compensation: 
- $19/hr 
- Unlimited studio use & free firing (not for production pottery)
