In this hands-on workshop, participants explore plaster as a sculptural material — from mixing and pouring to carving and finishing. We will experiment with both traditional and contemporary methods, including the use of plaster bandages and combinations of plaster with other materials such as fabric, clay, and found objects. Through a series of practical exercises, participants will learn how to shape form, texture, and surface, developing sensitivity to the material’s transformative qualities. The class is open to all levels and encourages playful exploration and process-based thinking.
