Ceramic Cyanotype Coaster Set & Paper Printing with Jess Stocker
We are excited to host a creative, hands-on morning at our studio exploring the beautiful art of cyanotype printing on different surfaces!
In this workshop, you will learn how to apply the classic sun-printing cyanotype technique to ceramics. We will guide you through the process of coating, exposing, and developing your designs to create a beautiful 5-piece decorative ceramic coaster set to take home.
To help you fully understand the medium, you will also have the opportunity to experiment with paper cyanotype prints. This gives you a chance to see how the chemistry interacts with different materials, allowing you to test out different botanical shapes, negative spaces, and textures before finishing your ceramic pieces.
No prior experience with cyanotype or printmaking is required!
