Week 1 May 27th Introduction to Clay and Design
- Explore different types of clay and their properties.
- Learn about the ceramic process stages and reclaiming clay.
- Begin designing a personal project.
Week 2 June 3rd: Pinch Pot Technique
- Master the pinch pot technique to create small functional or decorative pieces.
Week 3 June 10th: Coil Building Technique
- Learn and apply coil building techniques for larger, more intricate forms.
Week 4 June 17th: Slab Building Technique
- Understand slab construction to create geometric and functional pottery.
Week 5 June 24th: Introduction to Glazing
- Discover various glazing techniques and apply them to your finished pieces.
